    Hi E, thanks for this. I wonder if they feature any pics that my friend Susanne took? I don't have time to look today but will tomorrow.

    Anyway, we were there in Sept 2000, and I took a few rolls of film with my cheapo Advantix camera-and a few did turn out OK, but I couldn't capture detail like I wanted to. BTW, did you know that they had it where nobody had access to the Periscope-i'd have loved to have gotten a nice shot through it-like I did when we were in Wilhelmshaven and were on an East German Minesweeper.

    wow very neat, is it like a museum you can go on or just a memorial with no access ?

    O just read technical museum.

    Although I am more of a surface vessel man, U boots are interesting, but you wont find me in one :s
