22 Panzer Regiment/192 Panzer Grenadiers In Normandy

Hello.
I need help in finding any material/photos on the 22 Panzer Regiment & 192 Panzer Grenadiers in Normandy with particular reference to the fighting in and around the Chateau De La Londe - June 1944.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

ave my referance materials handy-but what Division(s) re these Regiments part of? I MIGHT have a pic or two of interest??

 

Apologies I don't know the answer to that!
All I know is that the HQ part of the regiment were at the Chateau with the grenadiers.

The 22nd Panzer Regiment and the 192nd Panzergrenadier Regiment were part of the 21st Panzer Division. Google is your Friend.

Hi Grahame-JC, no prob-and JC thanks for getting the Div Nr for me-I forgot to look it up even though I was compiling a list of IDs that turned into VGDs-for Wolfy.

I'll see what Mitchams book says about them and get back here with his info tomorrow. Not sure what pics I might have that has to do with the Division-I don't think any-but i'll check those out as well.

Hi Grahame, Sorry I hd not had time to lookk up Mitchams info on this Division because of researching several photographs. I should be ablt to do so for you tomorrow. And quite welcome-glad to offer help.

Same goes for me on German-I understand enough of it to squeeze by--sometimes.
