Well earlier I thought the sound had gone completely untill I closed the game in disgust and found out I had accedentally muted my computer. Although I now have had to put the game in medium settings. to run at a good speed, strange because I used to be able to run it in ultra and it would work fine.
My Empire consists of every thing between France and the Mughals. Also control all of Africa apart from Morrocco, which is next on my list. 1791 so time is running out! Just finished off Genoa, Savoy is next, Italians States, and Morocco!
Nope...I own Greece, France, Spain, the Italian States, and Morocco are the only others in the ETO with me ATM.
It's just recently Greece turned up out of the blue. The Plus side is it gave me more people to trade with... ...BTW I love trading in ETW. It's so much better. You always HAVE to have a colony in America or India. You need the resources. Gettign ships to the Ivory coast is a profitable move too.
Guys, I'm ready and willing to get online with some of you can have battle when ever you are finished with the Campaign; being that when I start a Campaign I'm so indecisive as to what race to go I end up raging and playing mutliplayer. It's alot of fun, 2 vs 2; 2 armies allied vs the other 2. It's just a single battle but there's many options you can choose from etc; plus all units are fully upgraded! P.S. Steam account name is: darcris **OR** michoo007 Cheers, Toxic.
I think I might have hit that year....1792 (game ends in 1799). Again, all these problems are Steam related, as the Total War series never had any serious issues until they (for some dumb reason) decided to launch it with STEAM. Bad idea, you'd think they'd learn.
If it works, i'll give it a shot. Have had issues connecting to MP games. We'll have to set some rules too...no gamey tactics that i've seen/heard about.
I think the rules will be no armies just of rockets and Mortars-not only do they (Rockets especially) lag the game up to slideshow speed, but I doubt any general had an artillery army. One or teo units in a supporting role is OK though.
So I can't have ten 24lbs Great Cannons and 2 Supporting Groups of Hindu Warriors? NO FAIR!! // Toxic
One of the most fun MP battles was a 4 player one, three of us went for the usual army, mainly of infantry with cav and arty supporting. However one just got a load of mortars supported by light infantry. And I started facing him. The other two got off to a grinding attributional battle whilst I marched up to their army and started vollying, but I got bored of the mortar shells blowing me to pieces so I charged a couple of infantry into them. Got rid of him. My men helped my ally and helped us win the day.
Finished my campaign. They don't unlock any new factions to play like previous TW games.... bummer...
