There's plenty wrong with green beer

 

Like what for example? I can see that if you spill it on yourself while wearing a white shirt, well, that could be bad. Elaborate please.

 

I am just saying, have a Smithwick, a Harp, a Guinness, anything but budweiser dyed green on St Patrick's day

 

ya true, not too keen on the "green beer" - sort of a gimic.......much better to have a good pint of Guiness poured right, and the lad behind the bar to draw a shamrock in the head with a matchstick.

I've had Guiness before, and it takes a little getting used to. I find it a bit more appealing when served as a "black and tan." What about that? Acceptable? Of course, I'll drink whatever beer a man offers me, whether at a bar or at his home, and no matter what the label is. It's a matter of politeness you know.

 

Perhaps on any day EXCEPT St Patrick's day

 

good to hear .......the "meal in a pint glass" ........ya i usually drink cider (bulmers) but Guiness is great - cant beat the stuff!

 

Black and tan is not a good thing? Is there another meaning for it? Before I retire and become a world traveller, I must know these things. No need to get into a scuffle in some far away bar or pub over something like that....Wars have started with lessor provocation!

 

hey A-58.....I suppose if your not used of Guinness, you will just have to acquire a taste for it over time

 

I'm working on it. I prefer it on draught than out of a bottle or can though.

 

very true - as long as it's poured right . we should get a keg between the two us.....buy the end of it - you'll like it for sure 100%

 

I think that that would be a good idea. One day I'll get out that way we'll give it a go!
