CoD: World At War- Favorite Weapon

Hey my favorite weapon is probably thompson with round drum and double tap or PPSH-41 but either way they are both good and the M2 is fun to use!!

 

my favourite weapoons on call of duty world at war are

4.m1 garand

9. .50 cal machine gun

PPSH41 = the most noobish gun out there!

 

But those guns that are labeled noobish are usually the fun ones eh?

 

The PPSH in the game fires at a rate faster then it did in real life. Not to mention it virtually has no kick (and nor does the Thompson). Not to mention the across-map sniping you can do with such guns which should not be possible!

Thats what I love about RO! Half the time when you hip fire you don't kill anyone, and the kick from the guns is pretty realistic. Longer the range, the higher you have to aim to compensate for the bullet dropping over time. The game can be hard at times, but its my FPS of choice right now.

 

Depending on which level... Dome/Asylum/Castle - try melee as your weapon of choice. Do you have the stealth and know how to surprise your enemy??

 

i like the flame thrower. its good to use it to clear out bunkers.i also think its good for fending off banzai charges.

 

Musso, I'm still trying to beat the SP game on Veteran. What was your stratagy for taking out the four 88's outside of the Reichstag Building? I can only get the first two. Too many damn granades coming my way.

 

I always go with no attachments since they're really unrealistic unless they are historically accurate. I often use a Garand for most levels, a Thompson for smaller levels, and a BAR when I feel like it.

heh... neither actually. PS3 - I've actually created a profile that is strictly for knifing opponents... people give me crap about rocking juggernaut, but seeing as the knife is my only line of defense... I feel it's ok. It adds a whole new dimension to online play! I've had a few victories with nothing more than the slash of my hand

What about you? XBOX, PC.....PS3??

 

Thompson, mainly because it is awesome and (unlike the previous CoD games) has that little nozzle at the end of the barrel... lol

 

M1 Carbine, Arisaka with bayonet and FG-42 when I want to have fun with a weapon so broken even the economy is shocked by it, don't like the flamethrower really, too easy to use and boring, one of those weapons you don't even need 1% of your brain to use
