    kerrd, what are the two small vehicles parked closest to the camera on the left? they look like mixed between the Goliath and the Bren Carrier, but obviously they aren't either.

    This photo reminds me of the Aberdeen proving ground in Maryland, where alot of rare German WWII vehicles like the Elefant and the Sturmtiger were sent after the war.

    It was common practice for both allied and axis forces to make use of captured equipment. The halftrack may have been knocked out after its capture or had simply broken down and was then towed to the collection point.

    I've seen a bunch of German vehicles marked in the same way, and vise-versa. In fact, the Germans did that with captured Allied Aircraft quite often.

    There are several more photos of that vehicle dump I believe.
