    Ok then,

I'd love to be the bottom turret gunner of a Junker 86 series "E"

I would serve the Motherland on the eastern front as a Razvedchik (Rahd-Zeh-Vikh) scout. I would sneek behind faschist lines, and steal important enemy documents, then get out before anyone sees me.
I would also serve as a Stalin-II tank commander, or maybe just a Komsomolyets (Junior communist member) with a ppsh-41 out somewhere on the war against the faschists. (I'm not very old)

I wouldn't mind being Ben Aflick spending a little time at Pearl Harbor, some time in the RAF, and the Dolittle raid.

Talk about being everywhere doing everything...

Jagdpanther driver in the West, an SS guard at Berchtesgaden (a fly on the wall to all of Hitler's dirt), an agent in the Abwehr ... or in the States - with lonely GI wives - nah, that's just too mean ;)

Welcome to the Forums Clausewitz! Intel is a good one, but I'm still sticking to my pick as a Fighter Group Captain in the Royal (Canadian) Air Force attached to the RAF...

...or an instructor at a WAAC training facility! ;) :D

Wouldn't have mind being with Lord Lovat and 4 Commando attacking the Hess battery during the Dieppe Op.

    Mahross,

I see you have picked the commandos at Dieppe!

Why not go in with the Canadians..? ;)

Would be very exciting! Though rather more dangerous...

Another newbie here - I think it would have been quite satisfying being with Major Howard at Pegasus Bridge - also turned out to be quite light with casualties...

Other choices would have been with the Commandos or Paras although these are rather dangerous options.

Oh, LRDG would have been fun!
