The lids all look nice but the chinstrap on the "SS" lid is not of the same age. Looks like it was added later.

peter if the chinstrap ss stamped was genuine? which I doubt! that alone would be worth a few 100$s the heer decal is on the wrong side,it should be to the left, and the camo paint suspect, anything that purports to be ss always treat with caution as it most probably is not.liner looks o.k. what are they asking? for it....

For the army heer camo 400$. And. For the ss 350$. They were brought back by vets. Both oweners stand by there items and offer a rebate on there items.

prices are way below the norm, and you should take to get a second opinion peter,I'm not happy with the decal on wrong side/paintwork and why would an ss be cheaper? has it got a decal?

The guy sellig the ss needs money and yes I see the decal on the other one now. Oh no there's no decal there a picture of the shell
it's the 20th post.:) also are they worth buying? And does that mean the heer is fake.

pics are too poor to give a better assessment peter, individual pics and decal close up would be better, from the pics shown no confidence in them..worth it? not if fake..heer is wrong too,as I said on the wrong side...so not right..worth it? no!

Anything SS and priced at such a "low price" is subject to all kinds of red flags as warniings. Last SS lid I looked at was prided at about $5,000.
