Sorry pal, mistook you for another should of read through the past posts. Your teams win (Eagles) will stop the Vikings from clinching it.

This is not the game that seems to bode well in the beginning for Cincinnati 3-3 halftime. I hope they let Palmer throw again soon rather than on 3 and 10. Pittsburgh beating the Ravens and Houstons beating Miami will wonders never cease. Even Cleveland is winning.

Not just the penalties either, if Mason hadn't dropped that "gimme" in the end zone the outcome might have been altered as well. But you are right, the team didn't get beaten, they beat themselves up in every way possible, and hence LOST!

I've been a (S) Aints fan since we got the NFL back in '84.

Saw 'em beat the Bengals Pre-Season when we were in 'The Big Easy'..........could this be 'Superbowl' year...........???

Too much experience of my boys to expect too much.........:blindfold:

At least the Jets are in the Playoffs - so you Saints fans won't be the most upset. The Jets tend to raise your hopes up real high, then smash them down on the rocks below. We did just manhandle the Bengals to get into the playoffs (37 - 0, only gave up 75 yds total offense) and I am hoping for a repeat performance, in Cinci, in this first round.

Personally I am hoping for a better performance from Cincinnati they were pathetic on Sunday's game. It will be a cold game but I plan to be there. My seat is a row down from a stormtrooper from star wars painted orange and black.

I personally am a bit of a Bengals fan, in spite of Chad "O", not because of him. Somehow I expect this to be a low scoring game, and in that area I give the edge to Cinn. at home. I am curious to see how the field conditions work out, haven't seen the weather stuff for game time, but with the Jets the number one pass defence in the conference, and a stronger running game than passing the "track conditions" might dictate who wins this one.

I still think the edge has to go to the Bengals at home, but I don't expect either one to advance much further in the playoffs after this game.

Conditions on the field are going to be cold but not slick like Sundays game but the wind will be 15mph? and the temp is 21 degrees. They play well in the cold. But, if the passing game doesn't get going and defense doesn't show up it will be murder again. The stats are in their favor it's just up to them. Thanks Clint it's nice to hear someone say something good about the Bengals it gives me hope for the game. Right now in a parking lot outside the stadium grilling some chicken and freezing my tail off. Thank God for beer.

OUCH!!! I was so surprised at how poorly the Bengals played at home. I thought the home field would help them overcome the stats. Soooo wrong was I. Condolences to "107thcav".

Now I suppose all I can do is think good thoughts for the resident Ravens fan. I don't think that is going to help them against the Pats however.

Thanks Clint, just got back home from the game about an hour ago. Didn't feel to cold going in but very cold coming out. What a poor performance everything was in their favor. So sad. Two missed field goals? How is it even possible when the game is on the line?? Palmer was way off his mark today passes over their heads or way behind the reciever. Oh well, here is to next season. The Dallas and Eagles games on and Dallas is going to win this one. I think Indianapolis will be going to the superbowl.

Too true on the kicks "107th", I wonder if the fellow is looking for work yet? Those misses weren't even all that far off, kripes, one just left, one just right of the upright. Like he over corrected his hook and then shanked it. Sad in a playoff game, but stranger things have happened.

Clint, you would not believe the reaction. Fans held tight to their seats into the fourth temperature dropping with the wind coming off the river and then the 2nd kick is no good. It was like ants leaving the building and I hope the players on the field saw that. Their fans were with them but if you can't produce results they are going to leave. What's funny about the loss is Marvin Lewis was asking for a training arena enclosed. I doubt he gets it now. Coldest game I have ever attended.

Looks like "Sloniksp" is a happy camper! I wonder if they will show the Colts as much of a challenge in Indy as they did back in Baltimore? That was as close as the then "undefeated" Colts came to a loss in the early section of the season.

I did not like the outcome of the Pats game but the better team won. Even though I remain a Patriots fan, I want to see the Saints and the Vikings in the Super Bowl and if one makes it, I'll be happy . . . especially if Indy does not make it.

Yes, im real happy! Too much beer and yelling, lost my voice. :D

I was hoping we would win, the last two times these teams met, the penalties determined the game.... The Colts will be a mountain to climb.

Too bad for the Eagles though..

    Go Ravens!

Well, stranger things have happened, but it seems NOBODY wants to play the Chargers. Going to SD is going to be an uphill battle, just like the Ravens going to Indy. Underdogs do win of course, and sometimes that is even a "good position" to have. I just hope for good games.
