    Real, but heavily rusted and badly cleaned. At least noone tried to make it look beter with a brand new decal. The inside is great,

    About how much do u think it's worth? And is it camo or a green turned to brown.

    Not cammo and the inside is rather black. As to the value, as such I'd estimate it between 200-400 euro . You would need to find out if it is black or green. The inside looks black but the oustide looks like a regular Heer helmet. Too bad there is no trace of an insignia

    liner looks good,as does the chinstrap,helmet original but! helmet appears to be a czech firemans postwar,the black paint is consistent with re=issued ww2 helmets in czechoslovakia,ray..

    the inside is black, I was thinking of Feurewehr too ,but I remember the German ones have ventilation holes

    peter the helmet has been scrapped to remove black paint,but as you can see the original paint has also been removed..ray..

    About your cousin's helmet: Sorry peter but I doubt a cleaned helmet like this would have the originally chicken wire . I looks like a reconditionned helmet with scraped paint, not a cammo one.
