Just last night over here I saw the news on the net that she had been found dead by the husband in the morning. Nothing could be done to save her. So sad, and so young. R.I.P. Brittany. Would have loved to see more movies by you. I know you are with angels now..

Kai, 8mile and Just Married were just a couple of films that I enjoyed on her behalf.... so sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends. R.I.P Brittany :violet: Jem
I remember her from King of the Hill and the recent Futurama movie, so sad and she was so young to boot! RIP
I heard of her but never knew who she was? Damned shame to pass away at such a young age. Rest in Peace.
I figured that you'd be a big fan of the show, it's set in the fictional town of Arlen, which is in the fictional county of Heimlich, Texas. The charactors are Texans through and through. Take a look at it, you'll probably get a kick out of it.
So sad, she was too young to die. Great actress.. One of my favourite movies starring her is Just Married. Funny movie (from that movie she and Ashton Kutcher actually dated for a while in real life) for those who don't know who she was here's a clip from movie Just married... YouTube - Just Married (2003) Rest in peace Brittney
While I don't claim to be either a fan nor was I even sure who she was, I am saddened by the passing of any talented young person no matter the cause. I did remember her in the movie Just Married when it was pointed out to me, but other than that one movie I didn't have any idea of her work. I wasn't aware of her being the voice of King of the Hill's Luanne either. As an odd aside, I was watching TMC last night and they had a tribute to Greta Garbo running. She made her last movie (Two Faced Woman) at the same age that Brittney Murphy passed away; 36.
Same as Tex, I grew up knowing some of those types but, I really couldn't stand some of them. That show reminded me off too many of them-not that im saying all were bad or whatnot? but-I just couldn't stand to be around what we effectionatly called: Trailer Trash. No offenses meant towards anyone here who lives in a trailer-im referring to those who were like that female character who was played by that young lady who passed away all too soon. Cases in point: I knew a pretty and very shapely gal by the name of Wendy. This gal was fun to be with but had lots of things messed up about her. For one: she has three children-all fathered by different daddies-never married, lives in HUD housing, gets food stamps, welfare, medicare, social security (a check for herself and one for each kid) and God knows what else? Everything paid for by taxpayers. Wendy is now about 30, never held a job, never paid taxes, nothing. Wendy also never finished highschool, nor as tried to get at least a GED. I quit hanging around with her when I saw how much she was using the system. I really feel sorry for her kids because, they all will most likely, turn out to be gutter trash. Wendy is now driving a brand new car-paid for by the US taxpayer. Every car I ever drove-I, and I alone, had to go out and work, sweat, get dirty, get cuts and bruises, and earn the money to buy my own ride. Wendy's kind of life-is disgusting. I guess at least she does not drink, and does not do drugs-so maybe her children might actually have a chance to turn out right and becom useful citizens.
I believe the rumors are she had many prescription drugs in her home and she possibly OD on her meds.....
