Squadron Leaders:S/L Griffiths, S/L Smallman, S/L England

Any idea which squadrons these Squadron Leaders served with in the Uk RAF ? They were : S/L Griffiths, S/L Smallman, S/L England
and flew with my maternal Grandfather F/Lt TD RYAN

 

Squadron Leader is a rank equivalent to major. It didn't mean they commanded a squadron.

Even googling the least common of the three names "Smallman" gave results of a F/Lt Smallman so without dates, initials and/or squadrons this is like looking for a needle in a haystack of needles.

(edit) Having said that there is a S/L Smallman (no initials) given as OC 210 Squadron in October and November 1944.
