Just arrived from Deutschland: three M-1925 Reichswehr buckles, hard to find, quite rusted but still with some original Felgrau visble and should come out great after a nice cleaning. One is in perfect condition, one has in bent in the eagle (should be easy to fix) and one is damaged.

    hi skipper, nice buckle ;-))

I just got a nice EastFont photo that you guys would love having. I knbow it aint much being only one photo but, it has all the elements i like in a ww2GERMAN PHOTO. a wINTER SHOT SOMEWHERE ON THE EASTERN FRONT AND GREAT VIEW-ONE I HAVe been wanting for ages now--which shows a mg nest and frontal view-from behind the mg, and i think you can actually see through the gunners site--and also shows the mg crew on watch-weaing sheepskin coats and m-43 hats.

Just bought the whole set of different Winter War medals. These have different clasps for battle places, plus one bigger Winter War medal for foreign volunteer.

Sorry about the quality of pics, these are the pics I received from the seller.

You lucky man! If you have time I'd love to see details of those especially legends.

Here is my latest : A German Pertrix FeldGendarme lamp with red , white and green colour light disks. And it works. he daylight is good enough, but I tried it at night and the results are really stunning. There is no way someone could miss that flashlight signal.

That's a nice one, and certainly looks 'WWII'. There are many, many post-war German flashlamps around, all masquerading as WWII kit.....:(

The post WWII have huge glasses and are easy to recognize. I'm pretty sure this is a good one . The Pertix 678 model was used by the Wehrmacht but also by the Dutch. As a matter of fact this one comes from Holland, by googling this very model, I find many WWII sites that mention the same reference. It will look nice on my Mannequin

here is a pic of a Heer soldier wearing one

no pictures, but i picked it up at a garage sale a month ago or so. a 1944 American mess kit in superb condition. I also found one at my grandma and grandpa's cabin a while longer ago, which was a 1942 American mess kit, in rather poor condition. rust all over, and could barely make out the year it was made in.

That's because you never played Panzer General when you werea kid Carl .:D

I will have much more to post in the future, including a German amno crate, Carl Zeiss binos and possibly a German M-1916 helmet (I'm currently negociating it with a dealer who wants to trade some of my militaria + money for it, so I will see if we can make a deal or not tomorrow :)

    Ernst Simon

note the red edged piping on his collar tabs..........

He was in the Brigade 243 & 301. Was Hauptman & Batterie-Chef at the End of the war.

Earned the Ost Medal, EKII, EKI, CCC, Wound Badge Silver, GAB most probably for at least 50 engagements, the man was acting CO of 301 for a very short time after the CO of the Brigade was KIA.

Attached on two different time frames with the 101Jäger Division. the 301st was noted for Wachmeister Fiebig who already had 50 Soviet Tank kills to his credit by April of 44.

Whether you like it or not? I gave you 38 reps for this pic. This is a great and VERY rare type photo. As for your question, Im thinking the Russians did the same thing like the germans and our guys-mainly getting rid of older stuff whaich was already replaced with newer weapons.
