That's a must have Kai! Now you need his July 20th wounded badge :D

Japanese Sinno_japanese 1937-1945 medal. This one was awarded to the Japanase and Coreans who fought in China during the war. Note the ephemism "incident" they use.

I love the funny system which allows to fix the medal on a button hole without piercing the uniform.

Not really militaria but a result of Pearl Harbor and Americas entrance into WW2.

    foto of bomber pilot/ground attack

RK Helmut Eberspächer who recently passed away on June 19, 2011, born in November of 1911. an excellent pilot last serving as Staffelkäpitan of 3./NSGr 20 flying Fw 190F/G's on night ground attack.

    from the RK site :

Not WWII, but still a good piece of military history. Gewehr 88 Commission Rifle mostly (if not all) all matching and unit marked. Needs some parts, but I'll get it fixed up. Got it with a reproduction sling and an original en-bloc clip.

A great find with many relics, hints and bits to work on.

    1) a Pair of German officer boots in great condition because stored in a dry place with newspaper from 1957 inside (which shows it was possibly worn for another 12 years by a civilian after the war but not touched since he stored them away .
Soles are original and in good condition too. A piece of leather was taken away by mice , but I could replace it .

    2) the two silver parts of a 2nd class Ritter Kreuz. This was probably on the ground and the black part rusted away.

    3) a 1939 dated postcard to an Austia based SS unit. ( and signed Heil Hitler on the bottom..)

    4)some Reichmarks.

I'm not sure these belonged to the same officer because there were also Luftwaffe dust glases and Lw pictures from 1940 in France. Anyway this was a nice buy. There was also a whole bunch of food ration tickets for civilians in occupied France. These Iwill post later.

This nice little tin can for sugar cubes ( as long as they had any ), used by the Finnish Lotta Svärd women's auxiliary organisation during the Winter War 1939-1940 or later use.

    Nice stuff guys!.......as always

My camera is not working, so a new one will have to be got .....in the mean time I took these with the camera on my phone (so excuse the poor quality)

The new adition is a US WWI army enlisted issue 'olive drab' wool 1917 pattern tunic it has "US" and "MG" (machine gunner) collar discs, and bronze eagle buttons.....it adds to my display which represents a man in the 78th Division (men from New York and New Jersey). The 78th fought in the St. Mihiel and Argonne campaigns ......we'll pretend that he also served during WW2 .....just to keep in line with WW2F ;)

A close-up of the collar disks ...."US" and "MG" with crossed rifles for a machine gunner

A rather original find and mos tof all in top condition.

This German Kochgeschir is enameled from A to Z . The absence of markings shows it's a Pre-3 Reich model but this was obvioulsy used during WW2. The size which is the regular 3rd Reich version shows it is post WWI area made for a start (WWI were bigger). In fact it's probably a 1920s model that was reissued twice , once in the 1930s and a last time in the 1942s.
Upon looking closely it has some great original Reichwehr Blueish Felgrau colour and a last paint coat was added some years later with Südfront cammo still visible on the handlebar for example. I have left it as such and will not clean it.

The inside is absolutely in top condition and despite extensive use has no damage except a few sracted , probably from cutterly.
