Volume 5 in Eric Mombeek's quadrology about JG 5-die Eismeerjäger, is here. An extensive story about the JG 5 throughout the war.
Volume 1 is a hard-to-find collector's item already, I saw one at Amazon.com a few months ago. Asking price was US $ 250,00. Soon after it was gone.
    German text, though.

    From Hikoki publications in English:

Luftwaffe Eagle- From Bf 109 to Me 262: the story about fighter pilot Walter Schuck. Starting his career in Luftwaffe at the age of 16, he flew his first combat missions over France in 1940. He was transferred to JG 5 in 1942, returned to Germany in March 1945 to participate in the defence of The Reich.
He survived WWII and here is his fascinating story about survival in an extreme climate, both politically and physically.

Soviet Strategic Aviation in the Cold War: Among other things the interesting history about the TU-4, the russian Superfortress. How the russians kept four B-29s forcelanded in the Soviet Far East during the fall og 1944. The USAF sent a request to have them returned, but the shrewd and unpredictable Stalin ordered them flown to Moscow where one B-29 was completely dismantled under supervision of the russian designer Andrej Tupolev. One year later the Tu-4 was ready for test flight.

Luftwaffe Gallery: One more from Eric Mombeek, this one with photos and paintings showing markings and profiles of Bf 109s, Bf 110s and Ju 88s.

Am Himmel Europas by Ingo Möbius: About Jagdflieger Günther Scholz, started his carer in the Condor Legion in Spain, later he became Oberleutnant and Staffelkapitän in JG 54 during the Battle of Britain, Jugoslavian Campaign, Operation Barbarossa and at the end of the war he was Oberstleutnant und Jagdfliegerführer Norwegen. It's an astonishing story he is revealing in ths book indeed. German text.
    Highly recomm'd.

A few used books from the Norwegian Air Force Library at Gardermoen outside Oslo. They have sold out some old copies at cheap prices lately, and here's my catch:

20 copies of the Observers's Book of Aircraft from 1960 to 1987. I have a few already so now the range is almost complete.
    Plus:
    3 Jane's pocket books
2 pocket books about the Soviet Navy (the small brown ones to the left)
the Amrose biografy about Eisenhower and underneath is the 'E-Boat Threat.'
