So i have a few items that im trying to get info and worth on. I will be selling most of the items and im not one of those guys wanting the full worth of each item but im not looking to get taken either. If you have any interest in them please let me know.
Kelly, The first one is a 'State Service' flag and believe it or not...not very desirable due to it's size...not something that is easy to display...I'd say that a dealer would want around $400.00 for it so collector to collector maybe $200.00 would be fair. The second is the best one...a KM marked 'National War' flag...it looks to be in good shape...I think a dealer would want $550-$600.00 for it...I think $300.00 would be a good collector to collector price. The third is a Hitler Youth arm band...you are probably looking at $40.00 to a new collector. The 4th is a banner for the NSRL...or German sports organization. It is from Gau Mittelrhein...It would probably be around $350.00-$400.00 on a dealers website...a good collector to collector price would be $200.00 in my opinion. The 5th one is a huge DDAC or German Driving Association banner/flag....I have never seen anything this big before...it must have been used at an event...I would follow the 'State Service' flag with pricing on this one...its not a widely collected civilian organization. The meatball flag and channel pants are not my thing so hopefully someone else will chime in. Hope this helped... Rich
Kelly - I can't text you a value on the Japanese flag either as the Pacific theater holds no interest for me, however, I will text my opinion on your Luftwaffe winter issue flying suit. If all zippers are intact with no missing teeth, and no rips, holes, or other errors are to be found in the leather, this piece would sell on a dealers table for any where between $750 and $1,000 in most shows/states on a dealer's table. A collector to collector price for the same would be more so in the range of $350 to $500 in the current economy most of us find ourselves in these days. Also, your upper ink stamping is for the unit, and the lower stamping is for the aerodrome or airfield this unit was assigned to. ( FL-Horst is the German abbreviation for the german word "fliegerhorst" indicative of the same. )
Thanks for the info. I had no idea about the flight suit. had a couple guy tell me it was a high altitude suit and others tell me it was a gunners suit on a bomber. There are no rips or holes in the suit. The only thing i have noticed is that the main zipper down the front has been replaced. It is aluminum and all the others are brass
