"Tanknet" forum: any members here?

    The reason I ask is that I'm having a terrible time registering there. After I sent them my info, I got a "Welcome to Tanknet" message via my brouser stating that I would receive a confirmation email within a minute or two. That was ten days ago.
    I clicked on "contact us" and sent them an email which got spit back at me stating that the address provided by Tanknet was no longer viable. So I've no way of contacting them.
    I know they're still alive because there are recent posts on there.
    I can "get on" Tanknet to read stuff, but am unable to log in or post replies which makes it doubly frustrating.
    I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. When I retry the registration process, it stops me to say, sorry, that username is already taken'. No kidding? That's ME! But it won't let 'ME' on.

    I've tried to register there many times over the years with no success. What irks me most about that site is that they feel the need to purge the oldest posts every so often, which drives the preservation side of me absolutely nuts. Frankly I'm not sure they will ever repair their problems.

    Tanks for the prompt reply. I'm glad it's not another case of my own cyberclutzia that's preventing me from accessing the site, but sad that it's so inaccessible. Surely they know their site is FUBAR.
