Welcome to the site and here are the titles of two excellent books about the Feldgendarmerie which are: Chained Dogs, and Chained Dogs vol.2. Both books are excellent and contain great info and many fotos. My favorite foto from one of the books shows some Fallschirmjager Feldgendarmerie who stopped a Kubelwagen driving by a young man serving in the Luftwaffe. The look on the mans face as his papers are being checked by the FJ Police is worth a million words, as well as the loo on the FJ Cops face as one who has heard every story and excuse. Just ask fine folks like Bobby, he can tell you from personal experiances ;-)) I can too.
