Anyone here ever hear of or play: World of Tanks?

I was wondering if anyone here knows of this online game? I stumbled across it some days ago, checked out their site and found the graphics more than great.

Apparently you can choose what side your on, what kind of vehicle you want and such.

However, I have never played an online game like this before so I dont know jack about them or this one. This one got my attention because of the impressive display I saw, and then spent a couple of hours on their site reading postings by players.

 

Yes, I've heard of it. But I would only know as much as you, as I too surfed there site aswell. It does look interesting, as there isn't many tank shooters games out there. But with almost any "online game" you will experience some lag the odd time.

But overall the game has got good reviews

I've been playing this game basically non stop for the past year. I can't put it down!!! I find the "grinding" to get new tanks and upgrades very addictive!!!

 

World of tanks is probably one of my favourite WW2 based games, its a bit fun watching a Tiger and a sherman charge into battle side by side and its free the only thing you need to spend money on is the extra good parts and amunition plus a few premium tanks. THe game has in game currewncy and all that but its a slow dribble to make money at the start.
