A ) Are you crazy about 'warbirds' ?

B ) Have you just booked three weeks' holiday with nothing better to do than sit in front of your computer screen ?

If you answered 'yes' to the above, click on : -

    Hi Martin,

You've hit a treasure trove once again! This Ron Putz's site. He is one of the guys whose BODENPLATTE book we are awaiting!

This site is about his research and about the Allied airfield (B-something) near his home, now Aachen-Maastricht airfield. Certainly worth a visit during one of those weeks behind the flickering screen! ;) :D

TOO MUCH !!! Never thought I would overdose on airplanes. It even has a great Halifax link. I don't think three weeks would even get me past the first few letters of the list. :(

good site as well with Ron Putz and John Manhro as Stevin suggested. The two doing the enormous Bodenplatte book.

note of worth. JG 300 site with kostenlos is non existant and the German night fighter site, not the forum in my mind is due for closure as nothing has been done since May of 99. some of the material is just plain wrong !

    Two further links are offered:

The USAAF in WWII, a chronology of all USAF activity, worldwide, given in monthly chunks.

USAAF Chronology • Mediterranean Theater • WWII, the same information, but focused just on the Mediterranean, and given in six- and twelve-month chunks.

Indeed Martin the page would not be available. But Peppy's links work, so that's also good.

    http://fly.to/yankee44

And go to the links page

Oh, with a link to his upcoming Bodenplattebook at http://www.bodenplatte.tk/

Dittos 152 on aerodrome. Lively Bishop & Richthofen discussions have gone down there. One good one was rating Richtofens flying skill. Lots of opinions flew on that one.

Many thanks for the link, Fitzy ( and a warm welcome to the forums, BTW ! [IMG] ).

I'd love to visit the CWH - if ever I get to Canada, it will be a must.
