Very happy to have found www2f.com, which appears to be one of the biggest forums out there. I'm still in my 30's (barely) but have developed a passion for the subject through books, History and Military television shows, etc. in the past 15 years or so. Recently I've been looking into WW II fiction, any guidance there is appreciated.

I'm fascinated with the A6M Zero as you can see, as well as Military tactics, Espionage, and D-Day. I have a 15 year old son who is also developing a nice interest in the subject, enough for people to give him WW II books as gifts. We have a 6 year old son as well who loves WW II flying video games and can outfly me t least half the time. 13 year old daughter? Not as interested.

I frequent a few other boards, mostly baseball and soccer/football as well as golf and a little music thrown in there. Happily married, typical life in the suburbs, I'm very fortunate -- and enjoy recognizing the immense bravery and sacrifices made by previous generations which have allowed me to live life as I do.

I'm a bit of a graphics and design tinkerer... I enjoy making sigs for people. All I need are your favorite subjects/photos and about 10 minutes.

    Thanks for having me,

Nice work there Bryan, I appreciate someone who's good with photoshop.

I'm from Chicago myself, but I visit Indianapolis quite often. It looks like we are semi-neighbors.

Nice to meet you Byran and welcome aboard! Nice art you have there. I'm into art myself, and always like to see other members' work.

Also, one of my most cherished posessions is a ring that my grandfather made from the prop of a Zero that crashed in the Aleutians.

It is indeed. I walk past it many times each summer on my way to the ballpark (ducks...)

My 13 year old daughter loves Purdue... don't know why though. I'm not from Indiana (grew up in St. Louis) so I have no dog in the IU-Purdue fight. She can have all the Purdue shirts she wants. Ok by me....

It's a start... any comments? It's yours if you want it, per the rkline56 in the corner. Cheers, Bryan

They are fun to watch. They better win another SB quick though... General Manning isn't getting any younger.

Welcome aboard, Brian! Any chance you could put Stitch in the cockpit of a P-38? LOL

In the cultural desert of Indiana there are a few oases, Notre Dame, I.U., Purdue included. So it's understandable if your young lady likes Purdue.

BTW, I am now just outside St. Louis Country, exit 257 on I-44.

New and improved.... added Koga's Zero, changed the O in my username, removed the old Zero on the left and shuffled the other around a bit. When a Yank has a name like Bryan Zero, you simply must have the only Zero in the World with US Marking on it in your sig, no?
