Well I'm going to be the next generation of WWII Historians and I'm just getting here to get started. I'm only 13, and I'm planning to take History classes in college already. WWII interests me, most likely because it was fought where my parents were from.
Welcome, l4d2bob, or shall it just be bob for short? Glad to see you youngsters interested in my father's war. I understand many US public schools don't even teach on this anymore. BTW I am now 65, and still interested, and like you, am new to this forum.
Welcome to the forum, l4d2bob! :waving: What do you say we call woolno2000 "2000" for short? It's very exciting to see such a broad range of ages here. You may be interested to know that some of the members here served during WW2. Their forum name will appear in blue rather than the regular forum theme color. I hope you enjoy the forum.
Howdy and welcome aboard! Always good to have youngsters around this place who are interested in history.
I've heard that we learn this stuff in 11th grade, but I've done far more research and I think I'll know more about WWII than my history teacher Well I'm enjoying the forum so far
