In memory of my great uncle 2nd Lt. Dougald A. McLean, killed in action on this day back in 1944. Serving as a co-pilot of a B-17 bomber with the 335th Squadron of the 95th Bomb Group (H) 8th AAF. His plane was shot down in the skies over Belgium. Your family will never forget the ultimate sacrifice that you payed for our country.

Thanks for sharing this. If you're interested, I can get you a copy of the original aircraft loss report. I've done it for a few other people before. Let me know.

    George Patton.

If as in original aircraft loss report do you mean the MACR? If so I do have the MACR. But thanks for the offer.

    Yes, I do. No problem.

Glad to hear you already have a copy -- a lot of people don't even know what it is.

Your more then welcome Sherry. Its the least I can do for him. If there is anything you can add more about your father I would love to hear about it.
