I have been a member of your sister forum WW2 Talk for a wee while now and decided to join you as well - I thought I had. Doh. My grandfather was a pre-war member of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders who, whilst serving with 2nd Bn Royal Scots Fusiliers at Anzio, was shot and captured. He spent a year in a POW Camp before being released by the US Army in 1945. As you might guess from the details above, I'm Scottish. Roxy
Welcome Roxy, good to have you lurking about the joint. We let Scots in, too, and even let you wear those skirts.
Thanks for the welcome folks! Even the Homer reference - it's closer than you might think! Jeff, We call them kilts, because the last person that called it a skirt got kill't! Roxy
