Surely because Urqhism and its associated calendar precedes most known religions...Mayanism is..sorry was but a newcomer to the world..Still in its infancy when the sons of urqh roamed the world and built the oceans....You think the San Andreas fault is an accident....Took urhqites years to plan...Urqh the second....ruler of all above sea level and befriender of dolphin gods...was instrumental in getting all the locals to heave that one into place....

Yes, it was San Andreas' fault.

Can you say that these days without being referred to as "un-PC?"

Angelic in thought and deeds, the guy who looks at sheep did name his created fault after a Saint.......Andreas, brother of Simon Peter......how nice to have a threatening piece of the earth named after a saint.....and then to put it somewhere far away from where Urgh and his sheepeth doth dwell.

After reading this thread I've decided to have my dog coppered. She's kind of old and slow and that may well be due to barnacles on her hull, though I don't really like poking around down there much because you never know what she's been rolling in. Still, with a fresh coat of copper she might get a pretty turn of speed in a good wind and get a renewed interest in keeping the homestead free of dangerous predators.

Wow this has been in the dust bin for a while!

I was just thinking about the old 'secret listener' and wonder what he's been up too. Actually I was replacing some screen on the porch and stapled my thumb to the frame. In the outburst that followed, for some reason, that name popped into my thoughts. Anyway, curious as I am I send him a pm and told him we hoped all was well and the upcoming ceremony of coupling goes smoothly.
Also mentioned I was doing my best to keep everyone here appraised of his current predicament.

He should stop in soon to recant everything I've said.

It's been a while since we've seen his smile
    Here's hoping he's still about,

I was going to make a rhyme but couldn't think of anything to go with Urgh. Anything printable.
