You're never going to change the minds of the willfully ignorant. But by remaining calm, matter-of-fact, and providing verifiable facts and data instead of gut feelings and "I heard it from a guy who heard it from..." rumors, you will be able to educate those who are on the sidelines, or stuck in the middle of the fence. You will not be able to win the battle with the guy with his head up his arse, but you have won the war with those watching. And at the same time, he has lost the respect and ear/eye of those watching, as well. Way to go! :S!

Thanks RabidAlien, my feeling, as long as someone walked away with new information and is inspired to learn more than I feel something positive came out of it.

Well I looked into this "beyond 2012 zeitgeist group" on facebook and it pretty well confirmed what I already knew.... That these people are all a bunch of airheads! Well basically they are the same type of idiots like the 9/11 truthers. These guys oppose pretty well anything involving the US government, and of course the existance of the nation of Israel calling them terrorists too.

If anyone out there thinks these people may have some credibility ... well this might prove otherwise...

At first i thought it was a joke but these people are dead serious..

Two giant underwater pyramids, made of thick glass, found in the center of the Bermuda Triangle | Beyond 2012 Zeitgeist

these people are on crack...and the best method to get rid of these type of "movements" is by ignoring them.. Even facebook blocks many of their posts for innapropriate comments so it's not worth a moment more of our time.

in my opinion, much like the "9-11 truthers" these people don't create these movements because they care about the well-being of mankind.. they do this to make big bucks... They gain awareness from the dumb and confused people who will believe just about anything.. then they make money by selling books, documentaries, and gaining media attention worldwide.

Thanks for going where I would not even want to, Sunny. I had a feeling that's what there views where, as my friends who bought into this were big truthers.

Well what can i say, i'm a curious person. I don't mind giving the other side a chance to expalin their side of the story. As long as it contains accurate facts and solid evidence. (neither exist in this case)

That's why I like WW2 history so much.. Because it's not necessarily a black and white issue, or who was bad and who was good.. Sure we know the nazis were bad but examining the common soldier we know many were not the bloodthirsty monsters that we know nazis for being. So hearing the other side of the story most of us here can agree that the nazis were evil, yes, but most of (weirmacht) soldiers were not involved in mass exterminations or in any barbaric war crime.. most fought and died on the front lines doing what any soldier would do.

Anyway, I'm jumping way off topic.. but I hope you guys understand what I mean.

    whew! I need a nap

    Just another dimension...

9/11 conspiracies are Democrat Party propaganda. In the days directly after 9/11, the United States experienced a wave of nationalist anger, comparible to the angry feelings aroused by Pearl Harbor in 1941. In those heady days, you would have had to go quite far afield to find anyone that would have voted the Bush administration out of office. Democrat pollsters and strategists must have been incredulous. Would this unprecedented and vocal support for the Republican administration transfer into cold hard votes at the ballot box? Would the Democrats be out of office for the next 3, 4, even 5 terms of office? The panic buttons were pushed and pushed again.

Then, somebody in the Democrat Party came up with an original idea. If we, as the opposition, cannot afford to be seen to be un-patriotic by critique of the war effort and the Republican administration, the next best thing for Democrats would be to plant a seed of doubt into the minds of the American voter. They began to look at the fringes of the 9/11 story, and came up with a strategy that would discredit the ruling party without seeming TOO unpatriotic and losing too many Democrat voters to the other side.

And, so, the Documentary "Loose Change" was born out of this desire.

And, it has been very effective. Without needing to bring on a call for a judicial or official inquiry into the matter, the Democrat party has succeeded in discrediting their rivals without the unseemly, public debate that most Americans would not have listened to. They let the internet do the work for them. All propaganda, as Josef Goebbels knew quite well, contains a grain of truth to it, even in the midst of The Big Lie.

And that, dear friends, is why you now have a Democrat president, in his second term, despite the fact that he has patently failed to deliver all but a few of his early election promises.

Impressionable or plain ignorant minds are always the victims of blatant political mud slinging that the documentary "Loose Change" is. They even managed to get a taped interview from Journalist Hunter S. Thompson doing a radio interview in Australia, (I heard it live), and questioning the media coverage of 9/11 as not giving the American people any alternative to what they had already been shown. It was a fine piece of blarney from Mr. Thompson, a known critic of governments, that took center stage in "Loose Change", right at the beginning of the film during the opening credits, before anything had been said by anyone else.

I worked this scenario out for myself. I have read nowhere from anybody else that 9/11 conspiracy theories are Democrat propaganda. This ones all MINE. Examine it closely for yourself, and draw your own conclusions. But remember, on the morning of September the 12th, 2001, you would have to have been branded a complete and utter fool to predict that the Bush Administration would somehow have lost the support of enough of the ANGRY American public to be voted out.

    Thats my explanation.....What's yours?

Two lies stand out from all else.

Firstly, conspiritors claim that the people on two of the flights that went down that day were actually diverted to Cleveland airport, taken off the plane, and lead into a hangar at the other end of the field. They do not attempt to explain exactly what happened to people like Todd Beamer, of "Lets Roll" fame on flight 93. When I asked somebody this on another website, I got no reply, other than to have somebody say that the US Government must have EXECUTED them all....

I think you'll agree thats NONSENSE. "If "Loose Change" and it's editors and producers could even come up with one, just ONE of these people that were killed on these commercial flights that were still alive, that alone would expose 9/11 as something other than what we all saw with our own eyes.

But that single survivor from those flights has yet to surface.

The other Big Lie was that somebody suggested that the phone calls made by the people on these flights to say a last 'farewell' to their relatives and friends was not technically possible in 2001.

    Crapola!

I FLEW to the US three months after 9/11, and can remember wanting to make a phone call to my American freind who was going to let me stay at their house.

The only thing that stopped me from doing this was that I had a pocket full of Australian dollars. The staff on my Japan Airlines flight explained that if I had American dollars, or Yen, and on a credit card at that, I could make the call. Otherwise, no dice.

Two lies from "Loose Change" exposed by little ol'me. And I worked out that their precious documentary was a fake , and why they did it. All from my own loungeroom!

Tell this to your "9/11 Truther" imbeciles, next time you are on their ridiculous website, or wherever they frequent their anti-American rubbish. Tell them what I've just told you, and to stick it well and truly up their Khyber Passes!

Aye, I remember arguing with some retard who claimed a 'plane flying at 5-600 mph was "too fast" to pick up phone signals travelling at the speed of light (186,000 mph), that mobile phones can only transmit in a horizontal direction etc etc....
The internet has been God's gift to cretins.

I overheard a kid on the park today telling another that his Dad was bigger than their Dad.
I happen to know the first kid's Dad is tiny, so I'm going to go back & smash the sprog's face in for making stuff up :birds:.

    That'll teach him...
