We recently moved my Dad as he suffered a heart attack back last Sept and he has been in and out of the UofA Hospital here in Edm.

So on Monday we moved him into the Kipnes Centre for Veterans in Edmonton. What an amazing place with so many Veterans that I'm in heaven :D

He's seems to be adjusting well so I hope that he has many more years to come.

They have shadow boxes outside their rooms to show their pictures and medals so I took the liberty to redo his enlistment picture to put into the shadow box, this is what I came up with :D

Here's my wish that he have many more years also. Being in good surroundings and with familiar people can be very therapeutic. Give our best to your Dad.

Since he has room I'm going to put this one in his shadow box as well.

This was taken in March 1942 eastern Canada.

We moved my wife's dad to a care facility in St. Albert. It's tough. God bless.

Getting old ain't for sissies. Give those gentlemen my good wishes and respects. We have the mother in-law in a private facility , $5600.00/month. We are waiting for her to go to George Derby. a place for vets here on the coast. $800/month I think. She served in the air force and because she flew to Newfoundland she is considered to have served overseas.
