Hi all and sorry for the slow intro. A 404 error ate my introduction post yesterday and i have only just summoned the will to rewrite it so apologies if i trail off into bullet points. I'm James from Birmingham, England. 30s. Long time interest in reading about WW2 since i was a lad. All aspects really from the Grand operational doctrines through to small unit actions. As i get older the books i'm reading are becoming longer and i'm starting to crave huge appendices, detailed OOB's and maps to accompany my study. Study is probably a very generous term for my shotgun approach though, and i would like to try to be a bit more focused organised and systematic. My library is mainly limited by what turns up at the local charity shops or is going dirt cheap for the kindle. Im still waiting for the 2 Stalingrad Glantz and a complete set of Erickson to turn up at an affordable price. Im going to stop holding my breath and start saving i think. Toodle pip jim Edit: May well just be being blind but i cant see the WWII forum rules im supposed to familiarise myself with?
Hello there jimmy. I am like you after books and resources meticilously researched with huge apendixes about one focused subject about WWII. Take care
