There is always some good stuff here I manage to miss. How about every Saturday there is a thread which highlights the past weeks best posts, meltdowns, new members, birthdays, anniversaries etc.
Yes more work for the admin here. But, this is a business. Kind of like facebook. $$$

Shoot, I barely have enough time to read and post what I am able to read and post, much less summarize it. Can't help you there.

If you look at the bottom of the Home page all that info is right there. Just like voting you should check early and check often.

Maybe there's a member here who could start a thread where he posts links to his favorite posts, meltdowns, etc.

I'm not referring to any member in particular, of course. I'm just sayin'.

    Poppys' Corner.
Just throwing stuff out there to see if it sticks to the wall.
Am an "idea" guy, not one who makes things happen.
Currently looking for a good idea.

There is a group in our state that thinks they were one of the first to suffer and are the last to be noticed when it comes to the unintentional radioactive fallout and its effects on so many peoples lives here in the southwest. You may move this topic to a better place as you see fit as I never quite know where to put things sometimes. A little geography......the Tularosa basin and downwinders were the people nearest to the Trinity atomic bomb test site. This rural area seldom gained much attention but is recently making some headlines in the press in the state of New Mexico.http://www.abqjournal.com/377694/news/tularosa-downwinders-press-on-with-radiation-claims.html

Hello Victor, thanks for posting that bit.
Trinity altered a lot of lives.

My weekly hot topic would be the arab war in Yemen, and the escalation between KSA and Iran, Yemen.

I thought that whole museum attack in Tunisia was something big.

My impression was that the OP wanted a list of topics that were generating a lot of responses on these forums during the week in question. If you have a topic you want discussed it's probably best to just go ahead a create a thread for it in the appropriate subforum. If you try to generate discussion for various topics in this thread then it's likely to fail since it doesn't look like a whole lot of people are following this thread. On the otherhand if several people are successful in that you end up with a very chaotic thread.
