    Hello,

Just want to introduce myself. :salute:
Middle aged, male, german, living in Germany, interested in history.

Served in the invincible Bundeswehr during the last years of the cold war. Atomic missiles "Lance", maybe someone remembers them. Shot the german MG and Pistol P1, which were modified MG 42s and P 38s, but can't remember much of it. They didnt't impress me much, maybe because they are worse than their historic counterparts...

Found here a lot of interesting stuff. That's all. :salute:

True in the 80ties and 90ties the BW was quite mighty, right ? Luckily today they are more Kindergarten....

You can´t remember the MG3, I thought it was terrible. Also it is better than the MG42 :) Eg. less ROF. P38 and P1 were the same I guess, we were told if someone attacks you and you only have the P1, disassemble it and throw the parts in evil guys face lol

Was Lance Heer or Luftwaffe ? Guess Heer, right ? I was Radar, AA, comunications, later shortly iHawk missile guy...

Having forgotten my password i simply created a new account. Sorry!

Triton (B) was a german submarine code, sometimes difficult to understand even for Bletchley Park. That's why i choose this name.

A warm welcome back Triton. If you like I can merge your old and new accounts. No need to abandon a profile that has some 150 posts.

    Hi, it is me again.
I just screwed up my account as Triton (forgot the password) and i can't "repair" it. I didn't found the e-mail.
So, now i am OhneGewehr, which means "without rifle" and "i am not absolutely sure" at the same time.
