Everything is simple since 9/11 :FC the West is playing against FC the Terrorists (a fusion of FC Hamas,FC Al Qaeda,FC ISIS and FC the Liberals) with as logo a turband and as referee the main shareholder of FC the Liberals (he lives in a White House and wears a T shirt with inscription : Yes,we can)

yes, certain cultures in the US are self destructive, no doubt about it....it's a circle of self destruction.....these are facts...if facts hurt you, please downvote this post....we see this with the Pals--everywhere they go, mucho problems with the host country
my great grandfather came from Germany....my father never taught me discipline, orderliness, cleanliness, etc....he exhibited those traits.....and I have those '' German'' traits....it's the ''culture''.....Japanese were very disciplined, etc....some cultures are not like that at all, are they?? the parent ''s'', exhibit negative traits in the circle..I've seen it firsthand.....

You seem to forget, that it's the land of the Palestinians the Israeli Jews have stolen - and keep on stealing more. If e.g. Russia - or any other country for that matter - conquered my land and started murdering, ethnical cleansing and illegal settling, I would become a freedom fighter (aka "terrorist") too. If all I could do to fight back the superior suppressor was using home made bombs/rockets, I would use them. The countries supporting/backing the invader would naturally be my enemies too.

J.F. Kennedy once famously said: "Ich bin ein Berliner". I say, with the same line of thinking and feeling: "I am a Palestinian".

I'm not sure who this was addressed to but Israel is not THE problem but it is clearly part of the problem. If you go back to the formation of Israel while the Palestinians weren't happy about things it wasn't them that started the war. The Arab Leage IMO bears most of the responsibility for that although the various Jewish forces in the region aren't blameless either. Other outside forces and the Palestinians bear lesser responsiblity but their hands aren't entirely clean either. Since then the Palestinians have been pawns of other forces. Of course they are angry and resentful. The majority of those still living in Israel don't seam to be all that much of a problem though.

Of course the Jews stole it from someone else first and the Palestinians didn't really steal it from the Jews Rome did that.
As for Muslims stealing Christian land over that hasn't been that much of a problem for several centuries as Christians have taken back a large part of wht the Muslims orignally conquered. Of course the "Christian" lands weren't initially Christian were they? In many places Protestants took the land from Catholics as well so whose land is it now? If I become a follower of Odin or Lugh can I claim all of northern Europe?

Since that's protecting you and your ilk you should be happy about it.
Of course some of us (Canada, USA, and Australia) have a pretty good record of subverting barbarians so I'm not too worried. Maybe it's the competition that has you so upset.

And your point is? There were other people there before the Christians and Jews arrived as well so what's your point?
OH that's right you don't have one you just try and cloud the issue to hide the lack of logic and fact in your position.

    ?

The nowadays Palestinians are the descendants of e.g. of the ancient Jews - although who was living where 2.000 years ago is totally and utterly irrelevant. Practically all of the Israeli Jews are foreign invaders or their children/grandchildren. Religion does not give you any rights for other people's property - at least not in any civilized country.

    ?

Most of the Palestinians used to be Christians before the 7th Century. Does (forced) change of religion change the land ownership? Of course it doesn't. And many of the Palestinians are still Christians - not that it had any relevance for anything.

Possibly at least some of them almost assuredly but whether it's a majority or even a large minority is an open question.

It most assuredly is not. It's an important factor to some and thus is not irrelevant. Besides where do you make the cutoff? Any such cut off is arbitrary and risks favoring ones side or the other.

Not really. Indeed most Jews that live in Israel that weren't born there came legally so can hardly be considered "foreign invaders". If you are going to use the status of ancestors to determine legitmacy why cut it off after two generations?

Agreed but that's hardly the case here.

Sources please. I am very doubtful that this was the case.

Actually it has and can. Now whether it should or not is another matter. Historically of course it hasn't happened all that often though has it. Not all that relevant to todays issues either.

    Then why mention it?

    And also an irrelevant one.
I'm aware that it is important to some, but regardless of that it is irrelevant. One can not reason murders and robberies by any presumed living areas of some people with the same religion 2.000 years ago. Ask any lawyer/judge.

The cut off is very easy to make. The Palestinians (and the Jews too for that matter) have documented knowledge of the land ownership prior to the illegal occupation of the Palestine by the Jews in 1948. It is very simple just to follow the international law.
They are "foreign", since they were not born there and they are "invaders", because they invaded the lands somebody else owned. The illegal state of matters in Palestine haven't changed - or rather haven't been corrected - since 1948, so there's no reason to cut anything off now.

But it is, since it is the main case for the religious fundamentalist state of Israel.

Let me rephrase my statement: many of the Palestinians were Christians then, possibly even most of them.

These are only wiki links, but I suppose they are correct enough.

"During the Byzantine period, Palestina Prima gradually became a center of Christianity, attracting numerous monks and religious scholars from the Near East and Southern Europe, and abandoning previous Roman and Hellenistic cults. Arianism and other forms of Christianity found themselves in a hostile environment as well.
Variants of the Mosaic religion were still at large during from 4th until the 6th centuries, practiced by ethnoreligious communities of Samaritans and Jews. However, with the decline of the Samaritan and Jewish populations through war and by conversion the 6th and 7th century, the religion declined as well. By the late Byzantine period fewer synagogues could be found and many were destroyed in violent events. The city of Hebron is notable in being one of the last Jewish cities remaining (although the Cave of the Patriarchs had been converted into a Church)."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palaestina_Prima

    "Judaism
The province of Palaestina Secunda was a thriving center of Judaism through the 4th and 5th centuries, where the Jerusalem Talmud was compiled. The primary Jewish authority, the Sanhedrin, existed in Tiberias until the early 5th century, before being abolished by the Byzantine authorities. The last Nasi (president) of the Sanhedrin was Gamaliel VI, who was executed in 425 by the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius for "illegally constructing synagogues".
    Christianity
The conversion of Constantine set in motion events that restored Palestine as a major theater in the development of the Christian church, as it had not been since 70. Only a few Minim (probably including Jewish Christians) had lived in few Galilean towns such as Sepphoris and Capernaum. However, beginning in the 4th century the Byzantine government responded to Christian interest in the Holy Land by embarking on a massive program of patronage, especially church-building, that encouraged Christians to move to Palestine. Less successfully, imperial policy tried to encourage Jews to convert to Christianity by offering protection and rewards. Eventually, as a result of Christian settlement in the vicinities of Nazareth and Capernaum (where a synagogue and a church lie almost across the street from each other) and Tabgha, Galilee lost its Jewish majority.[1]
    Roman cult and paganism
Small minority of pagans - whether non-Christian Romans and Hellenists or Itureans had been populating the province during early Byzantine rule."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palaestina_Secunda
Ok, let me rephrase again: should it change or not - of course not.

It is relevant, since many people in Israel and even here seem to think, that the Muslims don't have the same civil or ownership rights.

Because the previous writer seemed to think that religion somehow makes a difference.
