I've seen some US army buttons at the flea market at Zagreb, Croatia but they were probably 20 years old tops. This is so cool!

Found some interesting items but took some time to gather the money by extra work. Back with you with interesting album photos and perhaps something else by early September... :)

Picked up ( in France), the Norwegian defense medal . This was given to the Norwegians, French and British soldiers who fought for the defense of Norway. It is also called the Narvik medal. It's kind of hard to find because most were distributed to oldiers who lived oustide Norway , so they are scattered around the world. Mine probably belonged to a French Narvik veteran. It came with a Franco-Norwegian friedship pin and a RAF badge, so I suppose they were exchanged during veteran meetings.

Very nice example of a K98 bayonet, Rich ! As you say, matching bayonet and scabbard by Herder of Solingen, and nice Bakelite grips. Even in worn condition, that's a highly collectible item. Nice find ! :salute:
