I just received a notice that I had been "friended", is that a real word ?, My name is on their friend list but when I checked mine is not on theirs. I would like to add them to mine but cannot figure out how . Any help appreciated.

IIRC you go to their page and ask to be added as a friend.

There is something in the Profile menu called 'Manage Friends' but I have never used it.

Just to clarify the issue, are you looking at the icons under the word "Friends" on their main profile page? That only shows 12 icons. The full list can be seen by clicking on the "Friends" link on the left side of the page.

Go to the person's page and click on "Add Me as Friend".

No point, most of us are completely unmanageable.

    Gaines,

If they sent you a friend request, you show up on their friend list, but they will not show on yours until you accept their request.

You should have seen something that said "Accept" or "Ignore" which would allow you to take action on the request.

If you haven't done anything with it yet, you can go to the top of the page, on the right side, next to your name and "Home" is an icon that looks like the silhouette of two people, click on that. If you have any friend requests that are pending you can accept or ignore them there.

    Hope that helps a little.

Thanks, Clem, and all. It did not show in the pictures list of friends but in the verbal friends list on the left. All is well. Seems I have several "Friends" who are happy to be on the "list" but do want to be seen hanging around in pictures , LOL. Just jealous of my handsome visage and imposing 5-6 stature.!....................1.67 meters for the civilized world.
