Jim, what a guy! Seriously! Being a relatively fit young man (21) with mild arthitis, I sure can appreciate his determination in regards to walking.

this guy is incredible.i wish i had such and predecessor.one brave man like him must have relatives that are proud of him.i would be and even if i`m not his relative he has my respect.

Awesome! This reminds me of my neighbor... he's 93 now and I see him walking down the sidewalk (albeit with a cane now) nearly every day. He doesn't go very far because of doctor's orders and they took his license to drive away just a couple of years ago, but he's truly an inspiration. I have to smile wondering if he has a treadmill inside for days like today when it's snowing. Oh, yes, it *is* connected to the thread because *he* served proudly in WWII as well. :smirk:
a hero This guy is what you can call a hero, not with super powers. He can a national hero someday. I hope that their are more Brian out there.i:
This guy is truly amazing and i know that there are many more like him out there. I hope we get to hear some more wonderful stories like this soon.

I'm always kind of in awe of the relatively young veterans because my father, who fought as well, would be 96 years if he were alive. The veterans who are in their early 80's must have been so young. Deepest respect for people like Brian.
