Bush and Powell were sitting in a bar. A guy walked in and asked the barman, "Isn't that Bush and Powell?" The barman said, "Yep, that's them." So the guy walked over and said, "Hello. What are you guys doing?" Bush said, "We're planning World War III." The guy asked, "Really? What's going to happen?" Bush said, "Well, we're going to kill 10 million Iraqis and one bicycle repairman." The guy exclaimed, "Why are you gonna kill a bicycle repairman?!" Bush turned to Powell and said, "See, I told you no one would worry about the 10 million Iraqis!" :tong:
Haha! Good joke Anirban, though it's a bit bad that right after I had to ponder if Bush and Powell would really desire a World War III. I tend to be a person who really needs to read current events more to figure that one out. :silly:
hee hee wow, this is a good one! my hubby is military and i am going to have him tell the guys at work, they will get a good laugh out of it! thank u
i heard a funny joke the other day and wanted to share it with you too and since is is Christmas. The Supreme Court ruled there cannot be a Nativity scene in Washington, D.C. this Christmas. This isn't for any religious or constitutional reason, they simply have not been able to find three wise men and a virgin in the nation's capitol. There was no problem however finding enough asses to fill the stable. lol lol
:lame: That is a bad joke IMO. On another note, I dont think Bush wants a WWIII he did what he wanted to do which was get Sadam because daddy could not do it and now he is going to leave this mess behind him. :lame:
LOL thats hillarious. I gotta tell it to my friends. They will be on the floor. We sure could use some laughter this year.
Even though this bush joke was just that a joke?, It was actually the hoesnt to god truth. And thats where the laughter ends with me.
I think Bush went into Iraq for a lot more reasons that "Daddy couldn't get him" and all in all I think our Military forces are doing a commendable job in Iraq. This war is a lot more that just spite and if we walked out now it would be a worse disaster than if we would have left things alone.
Speaking of Bush and further military activity, did anyone here read Daniel Ellsberg's article a couple years ago in Harper's magazine that suggested a war with Iran was planned? Ellsberg's name jumped out at me for being arrested protesting the Iraq war, and of course he published The Pentagon Papers.
