I was wondering because on a trip to England I went though the tunnels in the white cliffs of Dover. Although it was a reinactment it did seem pretty real and always wanted to learn more, just did not have much time. (I was a college student then). I would love to hear from anyone who had been there during the war.
Hello jjae, i am interested to know what it was that you was reinacting when in Dover, was it to do with the Battle of Britain...
I unfortunately do not know names of battles or I could tell you. That part didn't interest me as much as the social aspect of war. (To each their own right?) Anyway I do know that it was when Germans were flying over and bombing from France. You can actually see France from the cliffs on a clear day.
Duhh, I just went and read your post on the battle of Britain and the dates and all ring a bell and it was before the bombing around London so I would assume this was a reenactment of the Battle of Britain.
