I havent watched many WW2 movies to be honest, but this is one that I did see and it's a very powerful movie I think.

Steven Spielberg always does a good job and this film hit the mark completely.

The red coat girl particularly caught my attention, the only part of colour in the film, it's meant to be a really symbolic omen, as the red coat girl was a famous survivor of the holocaust, but died in the film.

If you read the book, Schindlers Ark, she survived initially but died eventually. Sad but true I'm afraid.

That's one that I definitely want to see, and I'd like to read the book too.

I do have the soundtrack CD which I believe was composed by John Williams and features violinist Itzhak Perlman. I really like the music from the film.

In our country it becomes an instant hit. To tell you the truth, I haven't watched the movie yet. I think the lady is the main focus of the story. It's so hard to find in our video stores.

Schindler's List is on my top ten list, and it is one of only two that involves war of any kind.

I loved this movie wo much that I had to read the book which I generally won't read a book if I watched the movie or watch a movie if I've read the book.

I always meant to watch this because everyone kept telling me what a great film it is, but I never got around to it. It's pretty long too so I'm hesitant to start it. My dad loves this movie and has a VHS tape of it.

Please all, watch this movie. Brilliant. And then read the book, Schindlers Ark by Thomas Keneally. Devastating in it's brutality yet totally engrossing:thumb:

I'm definitely intrigued. I'm off now to order Schindler's Ark from Amazon. I hope they have it in stock. I much prefer to read rather than watch movies.
