"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat."
This was the first thing Winston Chuchill said when he met his cabinet on may 10th, 1940, the day that he became primeminister

He later used the same quote when asking the house of commons for a vote of confidence in his new government, and also later went on to say -

"Poor people, poor people. They trust me, and I can give them nothing but disaster for quite a long time."

Very straight talking, for a politician.

Well, it wouldnt be surprising if she was a young secretary type in Churchills cabinet back then taking notes silently in the corner! She might not be that old mind, but it would be funny :ponder:

Yeah, at first I thought hey she is old enough right, then I checked and doubted that they would have a 15 yrold secretary working in the cabinet,

However being Thatcher it wouldnt surprise me at all, she probably got born as a member of someones cabinet!
