And finally... As you can see, I've crammed the shelves rather full. Bonus points to those who can correctly identify all my models!!
Hmmm... they have arrived rather larger than I thought they were. Sorry guys! P.S: for any first kit, choose a jet aircraft that pre-dates Air-to-Air missiles. Much simpler to make, less fiddly bits, and less likely to break if it falls! Me262, Sabre, MiG15, Gnat, are all good.
I recognize a lot of the kits I have on those shelves Ricky! But yours certainly look better. I see the Bren Carrier & 6pdr by Airfix, and the Quad & 25pdr, which I both have, unpainted and in genuine poor Airfix kit state. And the Pe2 looks really nice with paint on it!
The first model kits I can remember and will never forget I built with my grandfather. One was a Huey Cobra and the other was a 1976? Chevy El Camino. We used the Testors non-toxic glue that smells like orange peels. That's got to be 30 of my 33 years ago.
A lot of them are just standard Airfix models (not intending anything bad about your model work Ricky!). I thought you could get those almost everywhere.
Thanks for all your words of praise guys I must be honest and say that most of them look better due to the fuzzy nature of the photo! Yes, mostly they are Airfix kits, with a fair sprinkling of Revell/Matchbox, and a few Italeri, Hasegawa, etc. I have another 40-ish hanging from my ceiling...
Sorry, when I went in the Army my mother outdid the damage Yamamoto inflicted and ditched all but a small portion of my forces. Losses included five carriers (Forrestal, WW II Enterprise, JFK, Essex, and Ark Royal), five battleships (Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Hood, and Ise), an F4F Wildcat and a B-24. Since then, I've only assembled a few models, including a PZ II and a Corsair II. That's why I like much of the 21st Century and FOV stuff, it's as good as I can do out of the box.
before i get married i had about 120 + models, after 10 years i had none    I had to start all over again about 8 years ago :smok: ( i have about 200+ kits waiting to assamble )
that is nothing, i have a tiger I since 94, but i loose one track and put it aside until i got the track made by acadamy, link by link, still half done bvut do not worry one day i will continue the assambly :smok:
