You're all exceedingly close.... It is Russian, it is a self-propeled mortar, and is IS named after the tulip (well done :D)

    Hmmm, over a month, i think i win :D

Come on, this is my favourite quiz! Perhaps you could simply google the key words like "Russian" "tulip" and "mortar" and get the answer...

Put up a picture of some obscure vehicle and we'll try to find out what it is. That's how the quiz section works - you get the right answer, you may ask the next question.

Of course if you don't have any ideas or if you don't want to ask a question just say so and we'll cover for you. ;)

    enjoy!

it looks like it's built on the t-72, it could be a moble SAM lancher, or rocket artillary

It is a mobile SAM launcher, but its not built on the T-72 chassis... something slightly older; count the wheels ;)

    Great work!
thats one of two answer I would accept,
The vehicle is an SA-3 Goa SAM system mounted on a T-55 chassis...
Its proper name is the "Newa SC" and its a Polish vehicle, but it's really nothing more than a mobile SA-3 system

It was a hard one and you got it :)
    your shot
