    Thanks to all. :D This picture is one of the few authentic photos showing German panzers during the Slovak national uprising. In some books is claimed, that the Germans had also Tigers there, but I still haven't found a clear evidence of it. These tanks should belong to 178. PzGr Div. Tatra and it might have been taken in early september 1944.

    Looking at those panzers from a considerable height (First photo), I cant help but wonder if a low flying fighterbomber would easily be able to say what type of tank it hit (or wether the tank is even hit!). Aside from this I think Its clear as everyone pointed out that those are PanzerIV tanks.

    As I wrote, this is one of the rare pictures of German tanks in Slovakia during the Uprising. Btw, it was taken probably by one of the insurgent soldiers, hiding somewhere on the slope in the forest.

    i have no idea it might be a brit but thats not likly the pictures bad
