    Well you've got me there Oli, I knew there was a rumoured Russian Spy Satellite called Black Prince but did know that the tank came before the satellite, so I await you answer with interest.

    Harry Hopkins it is: according to a new book "Friendly Fire" about the political rivalry bewteen the allies in WWI it is now acknowledged that Hopkins worked for the Soviets, with Eleanor Roosevelt's approval... :eek:

    Merlin has it.

    The upper hull was designed to be completely removed, basically to aid transport of the heavy beast, and was held on by 24 HUGE bolts.

    Shot in the Dark. I looked at Bovvy pic. saw what looked like eight on one side, doubled it, took a chance (Mechanics Think) guessed Four each end.
    Next Q. Who was the Anzac Donkey Man?

    Alrighty then,
    John Simposon landed at ANZAC Cove in the Gallipoli campaign as a stretcher bearer... Distinguished himself by retrieving wounded comrades from the field with the help of his donkey, Abdul, often amidst withering machine gun fire, demonstrating the courage and bravery so pronounced that even today, all the kiddies in Australia learn about him at school.
    Good to hear that he's been heard of across the Pacific :D
