Congrats Oli and Dave, beautiful TD I must say! I'm ready for the next round, if there is going to be one.
There will. I'm talking to Oli via private messeges about it. He'll be one of the judges for the next one.
Haven't heard from Dave yet about judging, but I'm ready to go. Could I have names, preferences for country and desired co-players please. There's no problem either way if existing teams wish to stay together and/ or stick with the same country. Keeping the same country for each team might help, a it will give an increasing familiarity with the vehicles Keeping the same teams will likewise increase familiarity with each other's thought processes But that is up to each player. Let the games commence  And thanks to CSP, Zhukov, Ricky, Roel and Danyel for an entertaining first round. PS Ricky, Roel - I have an old Fujimi 38(t) unbuilt, as soon as I get hold of a PIII turret I'm going to build your vehicle. Photos will be posted on completion
Congratulations Oli and Dave! That is one heck of a tank destroyer. I'd be happy to play Germany, and to team up with Ricky again for the next game. Either way I'm ready for another, this is fun!
Due to 1) my time contraints and 2) getting everyone to "register" I'd like to start from tonight or next Wednesday (After tonight I'm back to Monday, Wednesday and Friday access only, and that only in the mornings  ) If we have everbody sorted into teams and countries by say, midnight UK time tonight, I can assign the problem. Entries due back a week later (before midday UK time) and judgement (oh I love the sound of that word  ) and decision the following next log-in day morning or, if submitted early enough, say around 10-11 o'clock in the morning, the same day. Sorry about this, or Dave could pass judgement - if he ever gets in touch Dave? DAVE!?
Actualy I really think this thread needs to be up for at least 24 hours before we close it and start the match. Last week Panzermeister and Sovietsniper expressed that they wanted to play and I would hate for them to be left behind again.
Yeah my thoughts. Ok, arbitrary decision. If we have no problems whatsoever then I can post tomorrow at mid-day (UK time) the new teams and objective. If there are any late comers or queries then we can leave it until the same time on Wednesday. This will give players chance to sort out between themselves who they want to team with and which country they want to be. Multiple team choices for the same country will be decided by me tossing a coin
If I haven't heard from Dave by, say, midnight tonight, I intend posting my version of the "official requirement", but not starting the game until Monday or Wednesday. I can't see as it'll make a great deal of difference that players get a day or so extra, in my experience extra time on an "engineering" project merely provides more time to explore dead-ends. This requirement by the way may well get built as a model since, come Christmas, I'm about to be involved in large fictional-country multi-player wargames campaign. The winning design may well be built as a wargames model, and if I lose the campaign I get to blame someone else for supplying me with inferior equipment
yeh sorry i was away for the weekend so if u guys can fill me in on whats happening i would be grateful
Gentlemen, entrants declare yourselves. Once I have names in I will assign teams (if necessary) and countries (if not otherwise sorted) and post the new spec under the Topic heading "Create a Tank Game 2" at midnight UK time (about 4 hours from now) tonight. May the best team win, and don't forget that offers of hard cash, access to Swiss bank accounts and similar will count heavily in your favour
Here's five bucks. Go on, take it... Yep, i'm ready to get to it. It's hard to determine a nation since we don't have the assignment, but since American equipment is my slice of cake I would like to be them if possible.
Ok, I won't answer each individual post from now on. I'll wait until about 11-11:30, 2-2.5 hours from now, go through who's playing and what (if any preference) they've expressed and sort from there. As is so often done in real life, I'll also take "first come, first served into account" Danyel is player One for the USA
