A good WWII re-enacting unit, doesn't matter whether Allied or Axis, either in Georgia or very close to it?
Only because I belong, start with HRS. Or google "reenactments." Damn, I can't think of all the sites right now, and I'm getting ready to play taxi to hockey practice!
I used a Yahoo search for WWII reenacting, and pulled some URLs from that result. These ought to get you started looking. http://www.reenactor.net/main_htmls/ww2.html http://www.reenactor.net/ww2/ww2_orgs.html http://www.milwarehouse.com/wwii_reenacting.htm http://web.tampabay.rr.com/3rddiv/ http://d.webring.com/hub?ring=ww2reenactor http://frundsberg10.tripod.com/ http://www.hardscrabblefarm.com/ww2/ http://www.geocities.com/ww2_links/ www.frundsberg.org/main.htm http://groups.msn.com/WWIIHistoryandRee ... elist.msnw http://www.nwha.org/ www.milwarehouse.com/wwii_reenacting_sources.htm www.45thdivision.org You could also try "WWII reenacting Georgia" if none of these pan out for you.
From a WWII reenactors site that I use....... http://www.wwiireenacting.co.uk/forum/index.php They have an American link.... http://ww2reenactors.proboards35.com/index.cgi The UK site is a mine of information, the people on there are very helpful. I have never been on the American site so I don't know what it's like.
Well, sort of... www.6ssnord.com does include Michigan, but there are only two members of the outfit in MI. Most are in Indiana.
Yeah, man. I've done some Civil War re-enactments in you neck of the woods and it's definitely not to far away or unfeasible for people from GA, AL, FL, TN, SC, and NC to get together in a WWII re-enactment unit. Hell, we could even think about getting together to create one...who knows?
Alabama reenactors there is already a large group og reenactors in Ala i think they are the big red One 1st infantry Division
