mentor??????

    hello as you all know I am new here... and is found this site while looking for info on WWII but I am looking for a mentor who is willing to teach me all there is to now (or even a little part) on WWII and his tanks. who wants to help me out here?? :smok:


    ps: I am not a newbie on WWII I (as I hope) but I don't now anything about tanks and the battles like kursk and minsk (where I live :p ).

    You could find yourself overwhelmed with the concentrated know-how of this forum's members if you ask them some specific questions; what is it that you want to know? If you want to know everything there is to know, I suggest you save us time and pick up a good book on Tanks of WW2 (see the Library section for some good advice).

    what was so special about the battle of kursk and was this battle foughten on hitlers way to or back from teh soviet union?

    It involved the biggest tank battle in history. It happend sevral mounths after stalingrad and was hitlers last offensive in the east. After it there was only one way traffic(to berlin)

    What do you mean by mentor, im interested.

    I am looking for someone ho can teach me allot abaut tanks and the 2nd world war every week or so. by e mail or on this forum...
