Like what PC games have the best tanks for fps and rts?

Fps - Battlefield 1942 is pretty good but if you shot the back, its one shot kills. lol.

Rts - Desert rats Vs. Afrika korps owns. it just doesnt let you get a panzer IV for a long time in the campaign mod.

Battlefield Europe -World War II Online is the only game AKAIK that has modelled world war II tanks as accurately as technology permits and uses physics rather than unrealistic hit points to determine hits and the resulting damage.
By that I mean each round fired is tracked..it's muzzle velocity is calculated then the velocity decreases with distance. If it strikes your opponent it calculates the penetration based on velocity, the angle of the impact, the thickness and type of armor plate impacted etc. It then calulates spalling within the tank and calculates the damage inflicted both to the vehicle and to the crew. All this happens in a split second and the vehicle may burn or explode depending upon where it is hit. Multiple crew members (players) may be manning the tanks crew positions.
AS other posters have pointe dout there are always issues in a game as ambitious as this. It isn't perfect however I have not encountered another MMOG FPS like it with a persistent world that is actually a half scale map of much of western Europe.

Depends on which type of Sherman we are talking about here. And what's a Tiger III?

He means if three Shermans shoot at it at the same time

Best game would definitly be Close Combat, anyone of the series. Oldest but most realistic game I have ever played.

Best strategies are 2D not 3D.But if you want tank simulation T72:Balkans On Fire is the best.

I've been playing WestFront and EastFront II by TalonSoft again recently after laying them down for a while. I've also enjoyed Combat Mission series (CM, CMBB, CMAK), they're all pretty decent and cover the three major theaters of the war. Combat in these games can be difficult at times...which is a GOOD thing!!! :bang:
