Rusting Sherman Tracks

Just was wondering if anyone had any good tips on where to rust and whats rubber on an M4 Early production sherman's tracks.

Thanks Willys, I didnt realise that the bolts that hold the tracks together got so orange from the rush. I just thought it was over weathering from modellers. Thanks again

 

Orange rust is fresh rust and wouldnt stay for long on an moving tank, so if you are modeling an active vehicle too much orange isnt a good idea, best to stay with browns and grays

 

I don't get it.
Why rusting tank tracks? Working tank track is mudy, dusty but never rusty.
