wet,l that describes it in a nutshell, it was a disaster. the rain virtually cancelled the battle. oh there was an attempt by some hard core types to skirmish in the soggy woods. But most soldaten gave up and left. the night before was fun Jeffs Jeep and a Kubel conversion and a Dodge WC 63 six by six were there. and we went out on a trail ride with the jeep and kubel. i didnt even know there was a system of trails about a mile from my house, we went thru the open gate and hooted and hollered thru the woods and found a kiosk with a map of the trails. Now i have to get a jeep or a kubel of my own. Will and I had words about me chickening out. plus I am no longer the CO but I am the chaplain. there will be an event in Curtiss Ark (ost front) on Feb 10-11, 07. I want Zukov to contact me about this. I can outfit 3 Germans and a Russian for the event.

i think that was a little uncalled for. we can express our national pride but don't go disrespecting others.

To be honest, I am not surprised to see another such immature, xenophobic, homophobic, biggotted post from Tunic.

Grow up Germanm36tunic, you're allegedly an adult, start behaving like one.

Merlin, this was certainly not your fault. I assure you that the only offensive thing on this page was Germanm36tunic's post.

I should take a portion of responsibility for Merlins' post.
I've obviously been a bad influence on him!

'Course, If I could get him over here to Indiana, I'd have him talkin' like a true "Hoosier" by the time he returned home.
    HAell YES!
Honestly, I could clearly see Merlins' post was not meant to antagonize... and I've actually heard a couple Kentuckians that talked that way. My little sister went to college in Arkansas... and she ain't been the same since.
We is cul-tured folk heah in Southern Indiana.

    heh-heh.

I would have to to say Germanm36tunic was a little right but majorly wrong. People in GB would offended if we called you insulting names or talked about the crown or somthing like that, and People in the south would be offended if you insult the south. Merlin and Germanm36tunic I would leave offensive comments with yourselfs next time.

I can assure you that Tunic was entirely wrong, there is a huge difference between a bit of tongue in cheek banter which is what Merlin was doing, and being outright offensive to the point of being utterly ignorant which was what Tunic did on a number of occasions.

The fact that Tunic had recieved numerous warnings for his behaviour in the past and was subsequently banned speaks volumes for who was in the wrong, in any case I cannot see how you can comment on this instance since you joined after Tunic's final post was editted by the Admin. I on the other hand did read Tunic's post before it was editted.

Merlin's posts were clearly not meant to be offensive, Tunic's could not be taken any other way, this will not happed again anyway since as I earlier pointed out Tunic has been recieved a well deserved banning for his repeated breaches of forum etiquette.

Merlin, stop casting aspertions and get back into your bed! I'll tell the nurses on you, and they'll withdraw your stocking privilages.
