the fallschirmjager vs the SS ?

I have recently read Patrick Delaforce's book about the British 11th armoured division. Anyway he mentions in 1945 after the German surrender that the 8th parachute regiment were used against some SS units that refused to surrender i wondered if anyone had anymore info on this or know of any webistes that mention it.

Yes great thanks sorry got a little distracted by other things thanks very much for your very detailed opinion i will take any book that claims great things of the He 219 with a pinch of salt from now on

 

I have read that fallschirmjager feldgendarmes did deploy to round up ss troops who refused to surrender in some cases small pitched battles did result the one i have read resulted in 40 dead ss troops and several dead fallschirmjager
