Oh woweee! Stunning. That's the kind of trip I'd love to do...especially the standing around with a drink in my hand. :D

Thanks for posting PP.That was a great trip. The rafting pic was taken on the Mendenhall river which is fed by the Mendenhall Glacier. It was a fairly smooth 5 1/2 mile trip but is rated as dangerous because the water is absolutely frigid. The glacier that is actually pictured is Harvard glacier. The ship was stopped 700-1000 feet from the ice,but it's difficult to tell because the glacier is so enormous. It's about 225 feet tall. These pics do it absolutely no justice at all.
One thing I definately enjoyed was the variety of mixed drinks.Very tasty, but the alcohol content was very weak.I could barely catch a buzz.

    Ricky,good call,I didn't notice that myself.

JC,it wasn't as cold as it appears.Depending on the cloudcover, average temps were between 55 and 75.It was mostly overcast the whole time however.

Indeed. More like spring or autumn, at least here in North Carolina.

    I think 75F is around 25C and 55F is 12C.
